I meant to write before I left. I really did. I had this cute picture all planned out as I wistfully look at my mountain of luggage in the Atlanta airport. Maybe one day I will be that put-together missionary but for now, my leaving looks a lot like
But the point is that I’ve made it. Two sizeable layovers, a couple luggage mishaps, quick hugs with friends, and nearly 20 hours in cramped seats, and I am finally here in Ndola, Zambia. Thank goodness. More updates to come but currently a nap in a horizontal position is calling my name!

The flat I moved into is pretty sparse (just take a look at the pic) so I need to furnish it with some things. Please pray for the funds for those items and also the whole details of the process. Home is such an important thing when you are away from your original one. Here are some items you can be praying for: bed spread, lamps, bookshelf, table and chairs, microwave, freezer, rugs, shower curtain, kitchen things like pots/pans/mugs. Oh and wifi.
None of my bags showed up when I did. But I have since gotten two of them. Pray for the other two somewhere floating in bag-limbo cuz clothes and medicine are good things to have normally. :)
Starting relationships. I have an awesome team here! But starting relationships is hard and taxing sometimes. Pray for positivity, strength, and a learning heart.
