That's right! This girl is headed your way!
Lots of big things have happened in these last two months. Like field trips, gap year graduation, and wrapping up my first year here in Zambia. Take a look at the updates below to see whats going on.
I arrive back in the States Wednesday August 9th, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for when I will be around your area cuz I'll be making the rounds!
I can't wait to see you and hug you and swap stories with you!

Field trips: In the last month of gap year, the students did community service at different places around Ndola. First they volunteered at an orphanage and taught classes for the students. Then they volunteered at an Old People’s home, where they helped upkeep as well as chat with the senior citizens. And the last week they worked with the City Council doing highway trash pick up. These different activities opened their eyes to the different needs in our community here! Graduation: with much joy, the students danced their way into and out of our dressed-up dining hall. Some key students gave speeches that highlighted some of the most memorable moments from their time at GLO, such as wilderness camp, yoga lessons, and the mentoring relationships. It was such a special time of remembering their growth!
Post-gap year I had one goal and one goal alone-- get a Zambian drivers license. And after almost 2 months of going to the Zambian version of the DMV, which just makes you want to punch something really hard, I FINALLY GOT IT!
Fundraising. Plain and simple. I have had an amazing first year working in Zambia and now I am coming back to the states to fundraise for the second year!
Please pray for provision! I will be going to those that have supported me this year as well as talking to new people. If you know anyone that would be interested in supporting me, please send them my link! (below)
